Runners are designed to protect floors and carpets, reduce noise and prevent dangerous slips and falls in heavy traffic areas. Rubber, fiber-reinforced rubber, vinyl, carpet and combinations of these materials are fabricated to give the maximum in safety, comfort and wearability.
Rubber runners provide excellent slip resistance in wet or dry environments and stay flexible in cold conditions. Vinyl resist chemicals, oils grease, mild acids, most organic solvents and salts. It is stain and abrasion resistant, and is flame retardant. Vinyl is an excellent choice for use in light moisture or dry work areas. |
